SHS 1 students are to begin academic work on 27th February, 2023

The Ghana Education Service, the body in charge of pre-tertiary education in Ghana has successfully released the Computerized School Selection Placement System (CSSPS) for the graduates of the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

Following the release of the Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education School Placement for BECE graduates, the service has announced a new date for which Senior High School first-year students are expected to begin active academic work.

According to the Director General of the Service, Dr. Eric Nkansah during a Press conference monitored by coverghana, students who have been successfully placed are to start reporting to their various schools by 20th February for orientation among others to begin.

Dr. Eric Nkansah also added that academic work is scheduled to begin for all first-year students who have just been placed by 27th February 2023 therefore all students are to endeavor to report to school before the said date.

The man in charge of pre-tertiary education also further cautioned all heads of Senior High Schools not to charge illegal or unauthorized charges in their various school but also urged parents to work hand in hand with the headmasters for a smooth admission process.
