GES names Outstanding Students in the 2022 WASSCE

The Ghana Education Service has revealed the names of students who performed outstandingly in the 2022 edition of the West African Examination Council Examination.

According to the names out out by the Service, students of St James Seminary Senior High School were presented awards for their outstanding performance in the 2022 WASSCE.

The students, Alex Opoku Manu and Benjamin Eyram Nana Kwame Degbey both from St James Seminary Senior High School based in Sunyani were presented with an award for their exceptional performance during the 2022 WASSCE.

The students made Ghana proud by picking up the first and second positions respectively.

Students from Nigeria, Odigigbo Chioma Blessing of Nigeria took the third position.

The award ceremony was held in Banjul, Gambia during the 71st annual council meeting of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) from the 13th to 17th of March 2023.

The delegation from Ghana includes the Director-General, Dr Eric Nkansah, Father Owusu Sekyere, Headmaster of Opoku Ware School to attend the meeting.
